Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is the desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for membership; we are self-supporting through our own ontributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help others to achieve sobriety.

Meetings
The Saturday Night Live speaker meeting is going through some changes. First a new time - the meeting will now start at 7:30 pm instead of 8pm. Starting with the November 15th meeting we will also have a new home. Mountainbrook church is moving to Calle Joaquin in SLO. That is located south of Los Osos Valley Road and west of the freeway kinda past the Marriott and Margies. A flyer will be distributed soon

The 19th Annual big Sur campout is over and we would like to thank everyone for a wonderful weekend of serenity and fellowship.Thank you Trailmaster Johnny O. and all who helped make this a great campout. Matt E. for the great fires and all who helped plan, special thanks to the ice cream makers and the masseus. We had visitors from San Diego, Santa Barbara,Pacific Grove, Mendocino, Marin, Fresno and L.A. that I know of. The weather was perfect, and the fellowship was as allways very welcoming. Newcomers come back next year and celebrate your 1 year with us.
Next years campout will be at the same location, September 25th and 26th. Remember to make your campsite reservations on March 1st.
Next year is the 20th Annual event and it is hoped as many of the original campers as possible will make there return yet again so we may thank them for starting this tradition.
See you all there next year.

Central Office is always looking for volunteers. Need to have three months of sobriety and three hours a week for a weekly shift or as a backup volunteer. A great way to be of service and give back what has been so freely given. Please call Sharon H at 528-7429 or Central Office at 541-3211.
